List every product on the job with its supplier, SDS date and assessment reference, then download as PDF, Word or Excel. > Web page: https://complyonsite.com/tools/coshh-assessment-template?design=register Free, no account ## Choose a design ## What a COSHH register lists One line for each product on the job, and one for any dust or fume the work makes. - **Product**: The name on the label, numbered down the page. - **Supplier**: Who it came from, so the data sheet can be found again. - **Used for**: The task it is on site for. - **Where kept or used**: The store, the room or the part of the job. - **SDS date**: The date on the safety data sheet you hold. - **Assessment ref**: The number of its COSHH assessment. - **Review by**: When that line is next looked at. Add columns for the form, the date assessed or the trade in Edit. ## How the register and the assessment fit The register is the list. It shows what is on the job and that each line has its paperwork. The assessment is the judgement on how that substance could harm someone and what stops it. Every line points at an assessment by its reference, so the register never stands in for one. [Regulation 6](https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2002/2677/regulation/6) requires the assessment. A register is a plain way to list every product on the job and show that each has its data sheet and assessment. ### Do dust and fume go on it? Yes, as lines of their own. The work makes them, so they have no supplier or data sheet, but they still need an assessment. ### When does the register change? When a product comes on to the job, leaves it or gets a newer data sheet. Date the line, then check its assessment still holds. ### Can I keep the register in Word or Excel? Yes.
