Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, or work more efficiently, as well as to provide information to the owners of the site.
2. What this site actually sets and measures
The free tools on this site do not require an account, and using them sets no cookie.
- Measurement, without cookies. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and record loading speed. It sets no cookie and stores no identifier on your device, and it is not used to recognise you or to follow you between sites.
- Security. Cloudflare’s bot protection may set a
cf_clearancecookie to confirm that a request came from a browser. It is strictly necessary to serve the site and carries no profile of you. - Signing in. If you use account features, a session cookie keeps you signed in. That applies to the separate application, not to the free tools.
- The Stripe Climate badge. The footer states our Stripe Climate contribution and links to it. The badge was served by Stripe until September 2026, which meant Stripe received your IP address whenever you reached the footer; it is now drawn by this site, so nothing is requested from Stripe and Stripe learns nothing about you unless you follow the link.
There are no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking on this site.
3. Your choices
Because the measurement described above stores nothing on your device and identifies nobody, there is no consent banner to accept or dismiss. Blocking static.cloudflareinsights.com in your browser stops it entirely, and the site works normally without it.
If you would rather we did not measure your visits at all, contact us and say so.
