Yes, when the Schedule C extract limit is met. L10 is a Category 4 Provincial Waste Code. It applies when the Method 1311 waste extract holds chromium at 5 mg/L or more.

The 3-digit provincial waste class goes in a separate field. It doesn't replace the UN Number or Provincial Waste Code.

For regulated hazardous waste, enter L10 in the UN Number or Provincial Waste Code field on the Manitoba movement document. Manitoba’s registration and shipment rules still apply.

What does Manitoba L10 cover?

This entry covers chromium in a Method 1311 waste extract. A result of 5 mg/L or more meets the Schedule C limit and puts the waste in hazardous-waste Category 4.
