How do Canadian codes for PCB oils and contaminated equipment differ?
Ontario has a separate PCB class. Quebec separates PCB liquids, solids, substances, equipment and exposed metal parts, and concentration bands split several of these entries.
How should PCB oils and contaminated equipment be described for collection in Canada?
Use the measured concentration and the actual form of the waste. An oil category meant for low PCB levels can't describe a high-PCB oil.
