    Mixed halogenated and other solvents

Liquid mixture of halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents.

Liquid blend of halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents. Forms 202 and 203 cover single solvent types, not this blend.

Where does Texas form code 204 go in the Texas waste code?

In characters 5–7. The 8-character code is a 4-character stream sequence, then the 3-digit form 204, then a class character. Form 204 describes a stream in the organic liquids category.

The form doesn't give a hazard status. The stream's makeup, source and properties decide the class character after it.

For a hazardous or Class 1 shipment on a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest, enter the full Texas code in Item 13, across 2 blocks on paper. Put any EPA waste codes beside it. The 3 form digits alone are not enough.

The generator sets the class from exclusions, federal hazardous-waste listings and characteristics, then Texas industrial-waste criteria. H means hazardous, and 1, 2 and 3 are nonhazardous industrial classes. Process knowledge or testing backs the decision. Picking a form doesn't set the class.

What does Texas form code 204 cover?

A mainly organic liquid stream that mixes halogenated and nonhalogenated solvents. The form covers the mixed stream, not 2 solvent types kept as separate wastes.
