Waste oil outside the Chapter 324 used-oil route.
Where does Texas form code 206 go in the Texas waste code?
In characters 5–7. The 8-character code is a 4-character stream sequence, then the 3-digit form 206, then a class character. Form 206 describes a stream in the organic liquids category.
The form doesn't give a hazard status. The stream's makeup, source and properties decide the class character after it.
For a hazardous or Class 1 shipment on a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest, enter the full Texas code in Item 13, across 2 blocks on paper. Put any EPA waste codes beside it. The 3 form digits alone are not enough.
The generator sets the class from exclusions, federal hazardous-waste listings and characteristics, then Texas industrial-waste criteria. H means hazardous, and 1, 2 and 3 are nonhazardous industrial classes. Process knowledge or testing backs the decision. Picking a form doesn't set the class.
What does Texas form code 206 cover?
Discarded liquid oil handled through the ordinary industrial or hazardous-waste route. The oil itself is the waste, not an oil-water mixture or sludge. Qualifying used oil managed under Chapter 324 needs its own check.

| 603 | The waste is pumpable oily sludge. |
