Organic solids
Solid resins or polymerized organics
Non-pumpable resin or organic material that has polymerized.
Where does Texas form code 403 go in the Texas waste code?
In characters 5–7. The 8-character code is a 4-character stream sequence, the 3-digit form 403 and a final class character. Form 403 puts the stream in the organic solids category.
The form doesn't give a hazard status. The stream's makeup, source and properties decide the class character.
For a hazardous or Class 1 shipment that needs a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest, enter the full Texas code in Item 13, across 2 blocks on paper. Add any EPA waste codes alongside it. The 3 form digits alone are not enough.
The generator sets the class from exclusions, federal hazardous-waste listings and characteristics, then Texas industrial-waste criteria. H means hazardous. 1, 2 and 3 are the nonhazardous industrial classes. Testing or process knowledge supports that call, and picking a form doesn't set the class.
What does Texas form code 403 cover?
This form covers solid resin and other mostly organic material that has already polymerized and no longer pumps. A liquid adhesive that could cure later does not count.

Is hardened resin waste always Texas form code 403?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| 403 | The waste is a solid resin or polymerized organic that won't pump. |
| 210 | The adhesive or epoxy is still a liquid. |
| 606 | The resin or tar is a pumpable sludge. |
Polymerized means the molecules have joined into larger ones. The physical form at discard separates this form from the liquid and sludge forms.
Which wastes take Texas form code 403?
| Waste | When it’s 403 |
|---|---|
| Cured resin and polymer solids | The organic waste is a resin or polymerized solid that won't pump. |
