South Australia
Contaminated containers and drums
SA operational entry N100 is included in the current WasteTracker scope.
Is South Australia N100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. The SA EPA operational code list and its table of waste requiring tracking are separate, so a code can be on one and not the other. The description doesn't approve a receiving facility or a disposal method.
N100 is in the SA table for waste requiring tracking, within the state or interstate. Enter it with the SA description on the WasteTracker transport certificate, against a matching consignment authorisation. The consignor, transporter and receiver each complete their own part. The SA tracking exemptions still apply.
What does South Australia N100 cover?
Drums and other containers with residue of controlled waste go here. The residue must come from a substance on South Australia’s list. A clean container doesn't fit.
