Inorganic solids
Waste-incineration ash, slag or residue
Non-pumpable ash, slag or residue from waste incineration.
Where does Texas form code 303 go in the Texas waste code?
In characters 5–7. The 8-character code is a 4-character stream sequence, then the 3-digit form 303, then a class character. Form 303 describes the stream in the inorganic solids category. It says nothing about hazard. The class character depends on what the stream is made of, where it came from and its properties.
For a hazardous or Class 1 shipment that needs a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest, enter the full Texas code in Item 13, across 2 blocks on paper. Add any EPA waste codes. The 3 form digits alone are not enough.
The generator sets the class. Work through the exclusions, then the federal hazardous-waste listings and characteristics, then the Texas industrial-waste criteria. H means hazardous. 1, 2 and 3 are nonhazardous industrial classes. Process knowledge or testing backs the class. Choosing a form doesn't set it.
What does Texas form code 303 cover?
Ash, slag or other nonpumpable residue from burning waste in an incinerator. The process matters, because ash from any other process has its own dry-residue form. The residue doesn't have to be dry.
