    Oxidising agents, including peroxides

Victoria E100: this broader entry includes peroxides with other oxidising agents.

Oxidisers that feed fires and react with fuels, from peroxides to bleaches & nitrates. Hydrogen peroxide is the common example.

Is Victoria E100 priority waste?

Yes. E100 is pre-classified priority waste, so no mirror assessment decides its Schedule 5 status. Transactions and transport are both reportable.

Where the duty applies, enter E100 as the Schedule 5 waste code in the Waste Tracker record. The tracking exceptions and designation and household rules still apply.

What does Victoria E100 cover?

Waste that acts as an oxidising agent falls here, peroxides included. Victoria’s wording is broader than the peroxide-only E100 entries in several other lists.

Is oxidiser waste Victoria E100?

CodeWhen it fits
E100The waste acts as an oxidising agent, including through a peroxide.

Describe the waste itself first, not a chemical inside it. A chemical in soil or another material doesn't by itself decide which description goes on the load record.

What does a Victoria E100 load need before it moves?

For a reportable transaction, the producer creates the Waste Tracker record before dispatch. A transporter or accredited consigner can do it for the producer, who stays accountable and keeps a copy. Arrange the transporter and receiving site first.

Record the code, an accurate description, form, amount, packages, treatment, industry, dispatch date and the parties involved. Add dangerous goods details where they apply. The driver records collection and delivery, and the receiver records receipt. Priority waste sent to landfill, and soil that is priority waste, also need the disposal category that applies.
