M100, Higher-concentration polychlorinated biphenyl material.
Victoria
Higher-concentration polychlorinated biphenyl material
Victoria M100: the higher PCB band starts at 50 mg/kg.
Is Victoria M100 priority waste?
Yes. M100 is pre-classified priority waste, so no mirror assessment decides its Schedule 5 status. Transactions and transport are both reportable.
Where the duty applies, enter M100 as the Schedule 5 waste code in the Waste Tracker record. The tracking exceptions and designation and household rules still apply.
What does Victoria M100 cover?
Solvents, oils or other materials contaminated with polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) at 50 mg/kg or more go here. M120 also reaches 50 mg/kg, so they overlap at exactly that concentration.

Is PCB waste Victoria M100 or M120?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| M100 | The PCB concentration is 50 mg/kg or more. |
| M120 | The PCB concentration is above 2 mg/kg and up to 50 mg/kg. |
At exactly 50 mg/kg, the M100 and M120 bands overlap. The regulations don't say which code wins at that boundary.
What does a Victoria M100 load need before it moves?
For a reportable transaction, the producer creates the Waste Tracker record before dispatch. A transporter or accredited consigner can do it for the producer, who stays accountable and keeps a copy. Arrange the transporter and receiving site first.
Record the code, an accurate description, form, amount, packages, treatment, industry, dispatch date and the parties involved. Add dangerous goods details where they apply. The driver records collection and delivery, and the receiver records receipt. Priority waste sent to landfill, and soil that is priority waste, also need the disposal category.
