Dangerous goods not otherwise specified
Northern Territory T200: NOS means not otherwise specified; confirm the current NT system still accepts this 2013 entry.
Is NT T200 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. The code is an administrative description, not the current statutory listed-waste test. NT licensing for listed-waste activities generally concerns commercial activity or services done for a fee. The waste, the activity and the licence conditions all matter.
Every controlled-waste movement into or out of the NT needs a consignment authorisation and Waste Transfer Certificate. Enter the accepted administrative code, with a description, in the certificate's waste-code field, and check the NT code currency and movement rules. The November 2024 guide makes online tracking within the NT voluntary, but licensed operators still keep records and report volumes under their licence conditions.
What does NT T200 cover?
Dangerous goods with no more specific NT waste code. NOS means no more specific description applies in the dated NT table.

Are dangerous goods NT T200 or E120?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| T200 | The dangerous goods have no more specific entry in the NT table. |
| E120 | The explosive waste is outside other dangerous-goods legislation and fits the explosive-property entry. |
The older table helps identify a description. It doesn't show what the portal accepts today or what an operator's licence allows, so get the movement approval before dispatch.
