Inorganic sulphides
WA category D330; load type and road-transport rules decide whether a tracking form follows.
Is WA D330 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. D330 is a WA controlled-waste category. Regulation 3 covers industrial, commercial, medical, laboratory and sewage-treatment waste. Domestic waste is outside it. Waste that a Class I, II or III landfill can lawfully accept is excluded, apart from specified exceptions such as asbestos, tyres and clinical waste.
For a tracked load, enter D330 in the controlled-waste category field on the DWER tracking form. DWER issues the number. The authorised carrier or driver records collection and transport, and the receiving facility closes the record. Record the holder, amount, containment and destination. The WA load thresholds and exclusions still apply.
What does WA D330 cover?
Inorganic sulfides fall here. The entry names a chemical group, not a production process, so it isn't limited to one industrial operation.

| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| D330 | The waste is, or holds, inorganic sulfides. |
Landfill acceptance turns on the landfill criteria, not on how the waste looks. A category number and a dangerous goods class answer different questions.
