Arsenic and arsenic compounds
NSW D130: within NSW or interstate; the listed hazardous-characteristic test still applies.
Is NSW D130 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. D130 describes waste that may need tracking. Part 4 tracking needs a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That test is separate from the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.
Where tracking applies, enter D130 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. The NSW tracking exemptions still apply.
What does NSW D130 cover?
Elemental arsenic and arsenic compounds. The category takes the element as well as its compounds, whatever the named compound or process.
