Metal carbonyl compounds
New South Wales D100: metal carbonyls are metal compounds bonded to carbon monoxide.
Is NSW D100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. D100 describes waste that may need tracking. Part 4 tracking needs a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That test is separate from the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.
Where tracking applies, enter D100 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. The NSW tracking exemptions still apply.
What does NSW D100 cover?
Metal carbonyl compounds. They are grouped by their metal-carbonyl structure, whatever the metal, process or physical form.
