    Small contaminated rigid containers

Victoria N100: the rigid container originally held under 200 litres and carries reportable-priority-waste transport residue.

Rigid steel or plastic containers that held under 200 litres and carry reportable priority waste residue from transport.

Is Victoria N100 priority waste?

Yes. N100 is pre-classified priority waste, so no mirror assessment decides its Schedule 5 status. Transactions and transport are both reportable.

Where the duty applies, enter N100 as the Schedule 5 waste code in the Waste Tracker record. The tracking exceptions and designation and household rules still apply.

What does Victoria N100 cover?

Rigid steel or plastic containers that originally held less than 200 litres and are contaminated by reportable priority waste for transport.

Is a small rigid container Victoria N100, N105 or N110?

CodeWhen it fits
N100The steel or plastic container was under 200 litres and still holds residue of transport-reportable priority waste.
N105The rigid container originally held at least 200 litres.
N110The contaminated bag or container fits neither rigid-container entry.

Name the waste itself before choosing a code for something in it. A chemical in soil or another material doesn't settle which description goes on the load record.

What does a Victoria N100 load need before it moves?

For a reportable transaction, the producer creates the Waste Tracker record before dispatch. A transporter or accredited consigner can do this for the producer, who stays accountable and keeps a copy. Arrange the transporter and receiving site first.

Record the code, an accurate description, form, amount, packages, treatment, industry, dispatch date and the parties involved. Add dangerous goods details where they apply. The driver records collection and delivery, and the receiver records receipt. Priority waste going to landfill, and soil that is priority waste, also needs the disposal category that applies.
