    Large contaminated rigid containers

Victoria N105: the rigid steel or plastic container originally held at least 200 litres.

Rigid steel or plastic containers that held 200 litres or more and are contaminated with reportable priority waste.

Is Victoria N105 priority waste?

Yes. N105 is pre-classified priority waste, so no mirror assessment decides its Schedule 5 status. Transactions and transport are both reportable.

Where the duty applies, enter N105 as the Schedule 5 waste code in the Waste Tracker record. The tracking exceptions and designation and household rules still apply.

What does Victoria N105 cover?

Contaminated rigid steel or plastic containers that originally held at least 200 litres. The size test uses the original capacity, and the container must be rigid steel or plastic.

Name the waste itself before choosing a code for something in it. A chemical in soil or another material doesn't settle which description goes on the load record.

What does a Victoria N105 load need before it moves?

For a reportable transaction, the producer creates the Waste Tracker record before dispatch. A transporter or accredited consigner can do this for the producer, who stays accountable and keeps a copy. Arrange the transporter and receiving site first.

Record the code, an accurate description, form, amount, packages, treatment, industry, dispatch date and the parties involved. Add dangerous goods details where they apply. The driver records collection and delivery, and the receiver records receipt. Priority waste going to landfill, and soil that is priority waste, also needs the disposal category that applies.
