Peroxide waste excluding hydrogen peroxide
Northern Territory E100: hydrogen peroxide is outside this peroxide-waste entry.
Is NT E100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. A waste code here is an administrative description, not the statutory listed-waste test. NT licensing generally controls listed-waste activities that are commercial or done for a fee. The waste, the activity and the licence conditions all matter.
Every controlled-waste movement into or out of the NT needs a consignment authorisation and a Waste Transfer Certificate. Its waste-code field takes the accepted code with a description. The November 2024 guide makes online tracking within the NT voluntary, but licensed operators still keep records and report volumes under their licence conditions. For a controlled border movement, enter the accepted code in that field. Read the NT code currency and movement rules first.
What does NT E100 cover?
Waste containing a peroxide goes here, unless the peroxide is hydrogen peroxide. The NT lists state that exclusion. Oxidising agents with no peroxide in them don't fit.
