Paint, ink and dye waste
NT 2013 table entry F100; confirm that the current system still accepts it before use.
Is NT F100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. A waste code here is an administrative description, not the statutory listed-waste test. NT licensing generally controls listed-waste activities that are commercial or done for a fee. The waste, the activity and the licence conditions all matter.
Every controlled-waste movement into or out of the NT needs a consignment authorisation and a Waste Transfer Certificate. Its waste-code field takes the accepted code with a description. The November 2024 guide makes online tracking within the NT voluntary, but licensed operators still keep records and report volumes under their licence conditions. For a controlled border movement, enter the accepted code in that field. Read the NT code currency and movement rules first.
What does NT F100 cover?
Process waste from making, formulating or using inks, dyes, pigments, paints, lacquers or varnishes goes here. The entry follows the activity and product group, not one named solvent or colourant.

|---|---|
| F100 | The waste arose while making, formulating or using ink, dye, pigment, paint, lacquer or varnish. |
The older table helps identify a description, but it doesn't show today's portal acceptance or an operator's current licence conditions. Get the movement approval before dispatch.
