Chlorates
NSW D350: within NSW or interstate; the listed hazardous-characteristic test still applies.
Is NSW D350 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. D350 marks waste that may need tracking. Part 4 requires a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That is a tracking test, not the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.
Where Part 4 tracking applies, enter D350 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's applicable Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. The NSW tracking exemptions still apply.
What does NSW D350 cover?
Waste containing a chlorate. The entry names the chemical group, not one chlorate compound, process or physical form.
