    Peroxide waste excluding hydrogen peroxide

New South Wales E100: hydrogen peroxide is outside this peroxide-waste entry.

Peroxide waste from organic peroxides, which can burn or explode. Hydrogen peroxide is left out of this entry.

Is NSW E100 hazardous waste?

Not from the code alone. E100 marks waste that may need tracking. Part 4 requires a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That is a tracking test, not the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.

Where Part 4 tracking applies, enter E100 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's applicable Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. The NSW tracking exemptions still apply.

What does NSW E100 cover?

Waste containing a peroxide, unless it is hydrogen peroxide. Oxidising waste with no peroxide in it isn't covered.
