G110, Non-halogenated organic solvents.
New South Wales
Non-halogenated organic solvents
New South Wales G110: halogenated solvents belong under G150, rather than this non-halogenated entry.
Is NSW G110 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. G110 marks waste that may need tracking. Part 4 requires a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That is a tracking test, not the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.
Where Part 4 tracking applies, enter G110 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's applicable Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. The NSW tracking exemptions still apply.
What does NSW G110 cover?
Organic solvents that aren't halogenated, which sets G110 apart from G150. Halogenated solvents go under G150. Process residues from making or using solvents can fit G160 instead.

Is non-halogenated solvent waste NSW G110?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| G110 | The waste is an organic solvent and is not halogenated. |
| G150 | The organic solvent is halogenated. |
Match both the waste description and the movement scope. The same code used elsewhere doesn't carry NSW's classification or tracking conditions.
Which wastes take NSW G110?
| Waste | When it’s G110 |
|---|---|
| Spent solvents | The spent solvent is non-halogenated. |
| Non-halogenated solvents | The spent solvent is non-halogenated. |

| E100 | Peroxide waste excluding hydrogen peroxide |
| F100 | Paint, ink and dye waste |
| F110 | Resin, latex and adhesive waste |
