    Paint, ink and dye waste

NSW F100: within NSW or interstate; the listed hazardous-characteristic test still applies.

Waste from making & using paint, ink & dye, from pigments to lacquers & varnish. Within New South Wales and interstate.

Is NSW F100 hazardous waste?

Not from the code alone. F100 marks waste that may need tracking. Part 4 requires a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That is a tracking test, not the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.

Where Part 4 tracking applies, enter F100 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's applicable Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. The NSW tracking exemptions still apply.

What does NSW F100 cover?

Process waste from making, formulating or using inks, dyes, pigments, paints, lacquers or varnishes. The entry follows the activity and product, not one named solvent or colourant.
