New South Wales
Biocide and crop-treatment chemical waste
New South Wales H100: biocides are chemicals that control harmful organisms; phytopharmaceuticals treat or protect plants.
Is NSW H100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. H100 marks waste that may need tracking. Part 4 requires a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That is a tracking test, not the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.
Where Part 4 tracking applies, enter H100 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's applicable Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. The NSW tracking exemptions still apply.
What does NSW H100 cover?
Waste from making, formulating or using biocides or phytopharmaceutical products. The entry names that activity, not every organic chemical waste.
