Inorganic cyanides
Queensland A130: use for inorganic cyanide itself, rather than a cyanide-bearing process waste.
Is Queensland A130 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. A130 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. Tracking applies while the commercial or industrial waste is regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route before you decide whether a movement is trackable. This code has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter A130 as the waste code on the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator supplies Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it by the approved online, bulk-upload or numbered-paper route. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland A130 cover?
Inorganic cyanides, when the waste is classified by that chemical content and not by a more specific cyanide-using process entry. It doesn't take every cyanide-bearing process waste.

Are inorganic cyanides Queensland A130?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| A130 | The waste contains an inorganic cyanide and no listed cyanide process category better describes its origin. |
In Queensland's tracking list an asterisk sets precedence when several descriptions fit. It is not an EWC hazardous-waste marker. A resource leaves the waste regime only once it meets its end-of-waste code or approval conditions.
Which wastes take Queensland A130?
| Waste | When it’s A130 |
|---|---|
| Inorganic cyanides | The material is inorganic cyanide, not residue from a named cyanide process. |
