Acidic liquids and solid acids
Queensland B100: the material may be an acidic liquid or an acid in solid form.
Is Queensland B100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. B100 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. Tracking applies while the commercial or industrial waste is regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route before you decide whether a movement is trackable. This code has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter B100 as the waste code on the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator supplies Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it by the approved online, bulk-upload or numbered-paper route. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland B100 cover?
Acidic solutions and acids in solid form. The entry takes both forms and sets no universal pH boundary. Victoria has a separate B100 pair that states its own pH threshold.

Is acidic waste Queensland B100 or C100?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| B100 | The waste is an acidic solution or an acid in solid form. |
| C100 | The waste is alkaline or a solid alkali, not acidic. |
In Queensland's tracking list an asterisk sets precedence when several descriptions fit. It is not an EWC hazardous-waste marker. A resource leaves the waste regime only once it meets its end-of-waste code or approval conditions.
