Metal carbonyl compounds
Queensland D100: metal carbonyls are metal compounds bonded to carbon monoxide.
Is Queensland D100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. D100 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. Tracking applies while the commercial or industrial waste is regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route before you decide whether a movement is trackable. This code has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter D100 as the waste code on the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator supplies Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it by the approved online, bulk-upload or numbered-paper route. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland D100 cover?
Metal carbonyl compounds. The category groups them by their metal-carbonyl structure, whatever the metal, process or physical form.

Are metal carbonyls Queensland D100?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| D100 | The waste contains a metal carbonyl compound on Queensland’s list. |
In Queensland's tracking list an asterisk sets precedence when several descriptions fit. It is not an EWC hazardous-waste marker. A resource leaves the waste regime only once it meets its end-of-waste code or approval conditions.
Which wastes take Queensland D100?
| Waste | When it’s D100 |
|---|---|
| Metal carbonyl waste | Analysis confirms a metal compound bonded to carbon monoxide. |
