Polychlorinated dioxins
Queensland M180: A congener is one chemical variant in the dioxin group; any variant is included.
Is Queensland M180 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. M180 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. Tracking applies while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route before treating a movement as trackable. This code has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter M180 as the waste code on the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator completes Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it through an approved online, bulk-upload or numbered-paper route. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland M180 cover?
Any congener of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxin. The wording takes in every chemical variant of the dioxin group, so it names no congeners one by one.
