Queensland M220: these reactive chemicals are used in products such as polyurethane paints, foams and glues.

Isocyanates, used in polyurethane paints, foams & glues. A tracked waste category on the Queensland list.

Is Queensland M220 hazardous waste?

Not from the code alone. M220 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. Tracking applies while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route before treating a movement as trackable. This code has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.

For a tracked load, enter M220 as the waste code on the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator completes Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it through an approved online, bulk-upload or numbered-paper route. The Queensland exclusions still apply.

What does Queensland M220 cover?

Isocyanate compounds used in products such as polyurethane foams, paints and glues. The code isn't limited to one product form.
