Grease-trap waste
Queensland K110 has no marked precedence when several descriptions fit.
Is Queensland K110 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. K110 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. A load is tracked while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route first, as they decide whether a movement is trackable. K110 has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter K110 in the waste-code field of the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator fills in Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it online, by bulk upload or on numbered paper, whichever route is approved. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland K110 cover?
Waste taken out of a grease trap falls here, including what the trap held while working. The source is the grease trap itself, not any liquid waste that happens to hold grease.

Is grease trap waste Queensland K110?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| K110 | The waste was removed from a grease trap or grease interceptor. |
Where several descriptions fit, an asterisk in Queensland's tracking list decides which takes precedence. It is not an EWC hazardous-waste marker. A resource must meet its end-of-waste code or approval conditions before it leaves the waste regime.
