Waste mineral oil
Queensland J100 has no marked precedence when several descriptions fit.
Is Queensland J100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. J100 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. A load is tracked while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route first, as they decide whether a movement is trackable. J100 has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter J100 in the waste-code field of the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator fills in Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it online, by bulk upload or on numbered paper, whichever route is approved. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland J100 cover?
Waste mineral oil falls here when it is no longer fit for its original intended use. The entry is the oil itself. Mixtures or emulsions of oil and water go under J120.

Is waste oil Queensland J100 or J120?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| J100 | The mineral oil is waste and is no longer fit for its original intended use. |
| J120 | The oil or hydrocarbon is mixed or emulsified with water. |
Where several descriptions fit, an asterisk in Queensland's tracking list decides which takes precedence. It is not an EWC hazardous-waste marker. A resource must meet its end-of-waste code or approval conditions before it leaves the waste regime.
