Animal-processing effluent and residue
Queensland K100 has no marked precedence when several descriptions fit.
Is Queensland K100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. K100 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. A load is tracked while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route first, as they decide whether a movement is trackable. K100 has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter K100 in the waste-code field of the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator fills in Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it online, by bulk upload or on numbered paper, whichever route is approved. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland K100 cover?
Effluent and residues from animal processing fall here, including abattoir, poultry and fish-processing waste. The entry goes by the animal-processing source and takes liquid and residual material, with no concentration threshold.
