Fire debris and washwater
Queensland N140 takes precedence when several trackable descriptions fit.
Is Queensland N140 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. N140 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. Tracking applies while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route before treating a movement as trackable. This code is marked for precedence when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter N140 as the waste code on the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator completes Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it through an approved online, bulk-upload or numbered-paper route. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland N140 cover?
Fire debris and fire washwater. Both come from a fire or firefighting, whether solid debris or extinguishing washwater.
