Queensland
Clinical and related waste
Queensland R100 takes precedence when several trackable descriptions fit.
Is Queensland R100 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. R100 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. Tracking applies while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route before treating a movement as trackable. This code is marked for precedence when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter R100 as the waste code on the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator completes Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it through an approved online, bulk-upload or numbered-paper route. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland R100 cover?
Clinical and related waste. Queensland's clinical-waste definition decides which healthcare streams count as related waste. The label alone names no material or treatment process.
