Organic phosphorus compounds
WA category H110; load type and road-transport rules decide whether a tracking form follows.
Is WA H110 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. H110 is a WA controlled-waste category. Regulation 3 covers industrial, commercial, medical, laboratory and sewage-treatment waste, but not domestic waste. Waste lawfully accepted at a Class I, II or III landfill is excluded, except for specified items including asbestos, tyres and clinical waste.
For a tracked load, enter H110 in the controlled-waste category field on the DWER tracking form. DWER issues the number. The authorised carrier or driver records collection and transport, and the receiving facility closes the record. Record the holder, amount, containment and destination. Road tracking in WA follows the WA load thresholds and exclusions.
What does WA H110 cover?
Organic phosphorus compounds fall here in the lists that use the general chemical description. Victoria uses H110 only for organophosphorus pesticides, so its H110 is a separate record.
