New South Wales
Explosive waste outside other legislation
New South Wales T200: use only where other legislation does not already govern the explosive material.
Is NSW T200 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. T200 marks a waste that may need tracking. Tracking under Part 4 needs a matching Schedule 1 waste description and a Part 3 hazardous characteristic. That test is separate from the NSW disposal classification, and the code gives no disposal class. Part 4 covers local and interstate movements.
Where tracking applies, enter T200 in the waste-code field of the IWTS Movement, with the description, quantity, parties and the receiver's Movement Authorisation. The approved system issues the Movement reference. NSW tracking exemptions still apply.
What does NSW T200 cover?
Explosive waste that no other legislation governs. Being explosive isn't enough if separate legislation already governs the material.
