Queensland D310 has no marked precedence when several descriptions fit.
Is Queensland D310 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. D310 is a Schedule 11 trackable-waste description. A load is tracked while the commercial or industrial waste stays regulated under section 42. Check the Schedule 9 exclusions and the section 42(4) test-out route first, as they decide whether a movement is trackable. D310 has no precedence mark when several descriptions fit.
For a tracked load, enter D310 in the waste-code field of the Queensland waste transport certificate. The generator fills in Part 1, the transporter Part 2 and the receiver Part 3. Lodge it online, by bulk upload or on numbered paper, whichever route is approved. The Queensland exclusions still apply.
What does Queensland D310 cover?
Waste with boron compounds in it falls here. The entry goes by boron compound content, not by one named compound, process or physical form.

Is boron compound waste always Queensland D310?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| D310 | The waste holds a boron compound. |
Where several descriptions fit, an asterisk in Queensland's tracking list decides which takes precedence. It is not an EWC hazardous-waste marker. A resource must meet its end-of-waste code or approval conditions before it leaves the waste regime.
