Water-based resin and adhesive process waste

Western Australia F110: use this water-based entry; solvent-based resin and adhesive waste belongs under F130.

WA waste code for water-based waste from resins, latex, plasticisers, glues & adhesives. Solvent-based waste goes to F130.

Is WA F110 hazardous waste?

Not from the code alone. F110 is a WA controlled-waste category. Regulation 3 covers industrial, commercial, medical, laboratory and sewage-treatment waste. Domestic waste is outside it. Waste that a Class I, II or III landfill can lawfully accept is excluded, apart from specified exceptions such as asbestos, tyres and clinical waste.

For a tracked load, enter F110 in the controlled-waste category field on the DWER tracking form. DWER issues the number. The authorised carrier or driver records collection and transport, and the receiving facility closes the record. Record the holder, amount, containment and destination. The WA load thresholds and exclusions still apply.

What does WA F110 cover?

Water-based waste from making, formulating or using resins, latex, plasticisers, glues or adhesives falls here. The water base separates it from solvent-based F130.
