    Solvent-based resin and adhesive waste

Western Australia F130: the waste must be solvent-based and come from making, preparing or using resins, latex or adhesives.

WA waste code for solvent-based waste from resins, latex, plasticisers, glues & adhesives. Water-based waste is separate.

Is WA F130 hazardous waste?

Not from the code alone. F130 is a WA controlled-waste category. Regulation 3 covers industrial, commercial, medical, laboratory and sewage-treatment waste. Domestic waste is outside it. Waste that a Class I, II or III landfill can lawfully accept is excluded, apart from specified exceptions such as asbestos, tyres and clinical waste.

For a tracked load, enter F130 in the controlled-waste category field on the DWER tracking form. DWER issues the number. The authorised carrier or driver records collection and transport, and the receiving facility closes the record. Record the holder, amount, containment and destination. The WA load thresholds and exclusions still apply.

What does WA F130 cover?

Solvent-based waste from making, formulating or using resins, latex, plasticisers, glues or adhesives falls here. Water-based waste from these processes takes F110 where the lists split them.
