N150, Fly ash.

Fly ash
ACT guide entry N150; it supports interstate control and does not settle local disposal approval.
Is ACT N150 hazardous waste?
Not from the code alone. For ACT interstate controls, a waste needs a NEPM Schedule A List 1 category and a List 2 hazardous characteristic. The ACT administrative list prints the code. The NEPM itself doesn't print these A100-style numbers.
For a controlled border movement, put N150 with the waste description on the waste transport certificate. The producer, transporter and receiver each complete their parts. Get ACT EPA's consignment authorisation before bringing controlled waste into the ACT, and record the quantity, form, destination and applicable dangerous goods details.
Check the ACT movement exclusions too.
What does ACT N150 cover?
Fine ash carried in combustion gases and collected as waste. It doesn't cover all ash left after combustion.

- Responsibilities of controlled waste producers in the ACT
Is fly ash always ACT N150?
| Code | When it fits |
|---|---|
| N150 | The material is fly ash collected from a combustion process. |
Use the ACT administrative entry for an ACT movement record. A national reporting category with the same number has a different purpose and doesn't set the ACT movement duty.
